The Enchanted Garden Roma Street Parklands

As a Creative Director – Lighting for Brisbane's annual Enchanted Garden at Roma Street Parkland, Jason led the creative vision for one of Queensland's largest immersive Christmas experiences. Developed in collaboration with Lauren Beauchamp Brisbane City Council and a multidisciplinary creative team, the event transformed the parklands into a magical nighttime journey through light, colour and atmosphere.

Blending architectural lighting, projection, interactive elements and theatrical storytelling, the lighting design celebrated the natural landscape while creating a series of memorable experiences for thousands of visitors each evening. The result was an immersive festive event that balanced technical innovation with a strong sense of wonder, bringing one of Brisbane's most iconic public spaces to life each Christmas season.
